Electric Gate Power Cut: How to Open Your Gate Safely

An electric gate that stops during a power cut can leave you unable to enter or leave your property.


The solution is usually a manual-release mechanism or a compatible battery-backup system. However, you should not force the gate, dismantle the motor or start changing electrical connections.
